My commitment to the City and Livery
If elected to the Shrievalty, I will put opportunity for young people, the value of the rule of law and diversity at the heart of engagement.
I bring a strong combination of Livery, City of London, business and charitable experience, as Master of the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers, Deputy Policy Chairman at the City of London Corporation, Hon Secretary of the City Livery Club, a financial services professional and trustee.

Livery heritage
Keith became a Freeman of the City 23 years ago and a Liveryman 12 years ago. He is currently serving as Master Pattenmaker where his theme is ‘Sustainability and Involvement’, leading the company in taking climate action and encouraging a younger and more diverse engagement with the Livery.
Keith is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers and the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights.
As a passionate advocate for the City’s Livery companies, he participates fully as a member of the City of London Livery committee, Court Member of the Guild of Freemen, and as Hon Secretary of the City Livery Club. Other civic involvement extends to the Hon Treasurer and Council of The Royal Society of St George (City Branch) and membership of the Bridge, Candlewick, Broad Street Ward Clubs where he is a past Chairman.
Keith has been a key influencer in driving more support for the Livery from the City Corporation and in bringing the Livery Group Chairs together to improve engagement with the City Corporation’s senior officers.

Commitment to the City
Since being elected to the Court of Common Council representing Bridge Ward in 2015, Keth has been actively engaged in representing the City leading on sustainability, climate action, sport engagement, youth, education, environment, and broader policy agendas.
The role of Deputy Policy Chairman and Deputy political leader of the Corporation carries responsibility for a broad range of areas including deputising for the Policy Chairman, chairing the City of London BIDs Strategic Partnership and the Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce, Director of Thames Estuary Growth Board and engagement with London Councils and the GLA.
Keith is Chairman of the Civic Affairs Committee and immediate past Chairman of the Communications and Corporate Affairs Committee and the Port Health and Environment Committee.
This is a critical time for the City of London and its financial, insurance and professional services sectors in maintaining the competitiveness of the City in the face of increasing threats. Keith has extensive business experience in Executive and Non-Executive Director roles in the financial services, banking and strategic communications sectors providing a strong and direct connection with the issues and concerns of business and works hard to ensure that the business voice is represented strongly. This stands him in good stead to fulfil the primary responsibilities of Sheriff – supporting the Lord Mayor in an important ambassadorial role with the Aldermanic Sheriff in the vital mission of promoting the ‘City’ domestically and internationally.

-
Passion and energy
A strong passion for the Livery and City, complementary experience directly relevant to the role of Sheriff, together with great energy and enthusiasm, marks Keith out as somebody worthy of your support for the Shrievalty.
When Keith makes a commitment to a role he does so with tremendous passion and commitment and has a sound track record of applying his passion for the Livery and the City to get things done.
