A very moving and proud moment to plant a cross of remembrance on behalf of the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers at St Paul’s Cathedral.
This annual event opens Remembrance Week and is attended by over 300 people and all Livery Master, Prime Wardens and the Upper Bailiff.
It is an opportunity for the City and Livery to remember the Fallen in much the same way that the Nation does at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday. Having been organised by Royal British Legion for many years, it is now organised by a volunteer team under the aegis of the Livery Committee, the chair of which is Julia Sibley MBE.
